During this 3 hour workshop, you will learn basic hand-building techniques such rolling even slabs, joining seams, and shaping to create a mug.
Class Details
Create and decorate a beautiful, functional handmade mug using clay slabs. This mug can be decorated with carving, textures, stamps, and vibrant underglaze colors.
After the workshop, your mug will be carefully dried, bisque fired, and then clear-glazed and fired again to make it fully food, dishwasher, and microwave safe. Your mug will be available to pick up 3-4 weeks after the workshop.
This workshop includes all materials and firing for one mug as well as a template to take home. If you make more than one mug, these can be fired at an additional cost of $15.
Please note that these mugs are built by hand using a template and do not involve a pottery wheel.
